I love to experiment with every medium I can get my hands on. I don't set out to produce artwork that makes a statement about one thing or another, usually. For me, the joy is in creating pieces that play with color, shapes, texture, and the materials involved.
Combining two media - through traditional and innovative techniques is one of my favorite challenges. The experimentation frees me from having to "follow the rules," and quite often "happy accidents" occur which lead to wonderful new discoveries.
Currently, I'm mostly working with collage, clay, and watercolor (with a little melted glass and encaustic mixed in there for good measure).
